Respawn's Numbers vs Ours

Respawn announces ban totals; nobody can check them — there is no official banned-account list. We publish our own independent detections from the same windows, permanently.

How to read this table

The two columns measure different populations by design. Official counts cover every banned account game-wide, across all ranks and modes. Our detections cover only the top-750 ranked ladders on each platform — the slice we watch around the clock. Our number should always be far smaller; what matters is that it moves with the official numbers, and that ours comes with named accounts, timestamps, at-ban RP, and a published reversal rate — none of which any official announcement includes.

Official numbers are entered by hand from Respawn/EA posts (typically @apexlivecomms), each linked to its source. Our detections are counted from the same UTC windows in our ban event log, which also powers the wave archive.
